metrofiction

Metrofiction was originally a writing group formed in the early 21st century. The original members were John F. Banas, MM Plude, John Deaver, and Margaret Larkin. The website was created in 2004, when Poland-born Australian and prolific blogger Arthur Chrenkoff also joined the group. Shortly after submitting his short story to the site, he got his novel, Night Trains, published. The site wasn't active for a while, and it's been recreated to showcase people's writing and to continue to honor the memory of John Deaver, who passed away in 2006.

Below is the anthology Down the Block, which contains various writers' stories from around the world. You can read the entire book right here.
